1. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help websites remember you, keep you logged in, and understand how you use the service. Trade Tool uses cookies to make the app work and to improve your experience.

Trade Tool uses the following types of cookies:

Session Cookies
Purpose: Maintain your session state while you use the app. These expire when you close your browser.
Who sets them: Trade Tool
Required: Yes.
Analytics Cookies
Purpose: Help us understand which features are used and where users encounter problems, so we can improve the product.
Who sets them: PostHog (analytics provider)
Required: No — these are optional analytics cookies.
Payment Cookies
Purpose: Support secure payment processing and fraud prevention.
Who sets them: Stripe (payment processor)
Required: Yes, when making a payment.
3. Third-Party Cookies
Some cookies are set by third-party services we use. These services have their own privacy and cookie policies:
- PostHog — Product analytics. PostHog may set cookies to track product usage in aggregate. They do not use this data for advertising. You can opt out as described below.
- Stripe — Payment processing. Stripe sets cookies during checkout flows for fraud prevention and session continuity. These are required for payment to work.
We do not use advertising cookies or tracking cookies for marketing purposes.
4. How to Control Cookies
You have several options for managing cookies:
- Browser settings: Most browsers let you block or delete cookies. Note that blocking authentication or session cookies will prevent Trade Tool from working correctly. Check your browser's help documentation for instructions.
- Analytics cookies: If you prefer not to allow analytics cookies, you can disable them in your browser settings. Some browsers also offer site-specific controls for blocking or clearing cookies.
- Stripe: Stripe cookies are required for payment processing. You cannot opt out of these and still use the payment features of Trade Tool.
